I've had those 2 lines on the pregancy test (yippee!)and sore boobs (ouch!) and I am feeling tired and fat but not sick at all. Is this normal? I keep feeling like I can't really be pregnant if I don't feel nauseous. Oh, and is it normal to feel so fat just 5 weeks in?!

Yes and Yes. I felt like a whale during first trimester, even though I never put any weight on. Oh and started feeling very mildly nauseous at about 6 weeks, took a few more weeks for morning sickness to kick in.

My morning sickness started at bang on 6 weeks each time.

Bouquetsofdynomite · 03/06/2007 20:36

I was smug in my non sick state until 7 weeks.....then it started!! Buy some travel sickness bands in advance is my top tip to you!

I also felt sooooooooo bloated I was in maternity trousers by 10wks!

Never had nausea or sickness with either pregnancy with my dd's (yes I know I was lucky!)

beansprout · 03/06/2007 20:40

I'm 5 weeks too and feel exactly the same!! No sickness, tired, really horribly fat (I feel such a fraud) already and I don't have sore breasts either!

If you are due in Feb, please come and join us on the ante-natal thread
