Another CLOMID question................................

Been TTC since Sept (after losing baby at 32 wks). Since then my cycle has been really erratic - ranging from 24-30 day cycles, LP 7-11 days.

I'm very aware of when I'm OVing (increased CM, OV pains and temping) however, I've never had a positive on an OPK - a few very faint lines but never a strong one.

I'm now wondering whether I am OV as this month I had none of the usual signs at all. Would I be wasting my time going to the Docs as it's only been 8 months?

Just realised I haven't even mentioned Clomid! Just wondered if this is the usual next step? I've been taking Vit B6 daily for 5 months and my LP has increased a bit.

weepootleflump...how good is your gp?
My gp is wonderful. Our only ds was stillborn two days after his duedate (two years ago yesterday ). We had been trying for nearly 5 years for him and my gp referred us to the fertility clinic for more clomid after only a couple of months of trying again.

It may be worth asking....8 months feels like a really long time trying after a loss like this.
I hope that you get 'sorted out' quickly.
X

sotmusk, B6 lengthens your LP.

coggy, my gp is very good and has been really supportive. Thanks for your story, that is reassuring - think I'll make an appointment for a chat about it.

Hi WeePootle- I'm so sorry for your loss. I can definitely understand why you would want to go to the docs and get some help. I can just tell you what happened to me... I had miscarriage at 13 weeks and did not get AF for ages. I kept getting ignored by GP and finally after 5 months got to see a specialist. He was also terrible and diagnosed me scarring and wanted me to have surgery. I wasn't sure so eventually went private and he diagnosed PCO and put me on clomid. I just finished my 3rd cycle. I'm not sure if this would be the usual next step for you if you are OV and have pretty normal cycles ie not 40 plus days.

Thanks lulu, also reassuring to hear you got referred in a short-ish time, hope the Clomid works for you soon. x
