Hi all me and my partner are on our 8th month of ttc. BFN today and ad due tomorrow. We've had blood tests and sperm checked everything fine. Was just wondering if anyone takes fertility vitamins, which ones did you and your partner take and any success? I've just ordered trying for a baby Severn seas for myself.
Feeling really low and will try anything at this point 😂😭

I think I had Pregnacare and DP had Wellman, something like that. Helped me to feel better whilst TTC!

If nothing has happened soon could you return to your GP and ask for more tests? I had an HSG and a laparoscopy before we eventually had DTs through IVF. Turned out I didn't need either (problem was DP's low sperm count, which the vitamins didn't help!) but it was all part of the process Hmm

Sending you Thanks though as you're obviously feeling down about it; it can be a very tough time. Hope you get some good news soon!

Hey, I've been back to the doctors and have been referred for a scan to see if anything is blocked. Who knew getting pregnant could take so long!!

@rubyslippers77 the vitamins were causing problems with/weren't helping your OH's sperm count? Didn't know that could happen and a little concerned about my DH taking them, if that can be the case!

@Mama88 I'm taking folic acid (have been for a good few months before starting TTC) and iron tablets, but I'm pretty new to all this so not really sure what I'm doing!!

Hi Contadora, the vitamins just didn't help my DP. There are plenty of studies to say that diet and/ or extra vitamins can help with sperm count, but they didn't make any difference to him. Mind you his count was so rubbish it would have taken some sort of miracle to get it to a decent level!!

Make sure to check with your doctor about using multiple different types of supplements. Have you heard about CoQ10? Some research suggests CoQ10 may help to support fertility in men and women.
