Hey Everyone.

I am going a little bit out of my mind here, its my first time trying accurately for a baby, i tracked my fertile times using Clear Blue and then ovulated 4 days after ...we was Grin Grin throughout that period in hopes that this will work and especially on the day i found out i was peaking.

The peak day [lh surge rise] i had the egg white mucus [sorry for TMi] and now it is 2 days later and i am sitting here going out of my mindddd as i am having a few strange things that havent happened before to me during this time so i wonder if you could tell me if this is an indication of anything or nothing at all..

i have excess saliva and its actually quite alot
i have cramps in my tummy with like a pulling down sensation and slight twitches or digs every so often
i have on and off back ache
and a disgusting metallic taste that comes and goes in my mouth

Please could anyone shed a light on if i just need to ignore these things or not as it really is only 2 days after my Peak time so it would mean ovulation was yesterday or so...sorry i think im thinking to much into this id really just be over the moon to be pregnant.

From what I read on here at 2DPO (which is what I think you're saying you are) its way too early to be having any symptoms. I believe you only get them from implantation onwards which is around 8-10 days after ovulation x

@sunshine1987 thats what i was thinking so they could just be from Ovulation.. its really confusing for me tho im not that savvy with everything but my fertile window started tuesday last week so we started DTD then up until this Sunday and i dont know the process after ovulation like what to expect and when to expect it. i believe i have from the last day of my peak which was Sunday 14 days until AF sorry i think im just so anxious about the whole thing:(

As pp said it's way to early. I totally get how exciting ttc is to start with but you really need to try and relax for your own sanity 🙂 I used to think I had loads of tww symptoms and it was always a bfn. The two times I had bfps I actually had no signs at all and thought I didn't stand a chance!
You only have 20% chance of conceiving each cycle so don't expect anything to happen immediately. Of course it might, and you could get a bfp straight away but on the other hand it might not happen for a year+
Try and keep it casual to start and don't read too much into any symptoms. Good luck and wishing you a quick and successful ttc experience 😊

thank you so much @BoBo90 i do think i have been overthinking it which is why i took to here i thought id get some advise and you've definitely grounded me. its true i suppose its my first proper attempt my fingers are crossed... but when i say first proper attempt what i mean is.. we have been trying / testing for 4 years! but each time either the donor has failed us or we havent tracked the cycle correctly or inseminated correctly .. now that we have everything under control its the worst because this time with every detail down to a T if it doesn't work this will crush me as im all out of options, probably will need to seek medical help.

@LuAliceD don't apologise, it's a gruelling process! You're probably experiencing ovulation pains. I never realised I got them until TYC where I'm now picking up on everything! If you can try and relax then do and 14 days from ovulation you can try testing. Best of luck to you x

@sunshine1987 couldnt agree more, thank you
