Alternating cycles 29 days then 33-35 days then 29....

Has anyone any experience of this?

Prior to my first miscarriage in Dec, my cycles were regular and arrived every 32 days. After the miscarriage I had one 32day cycle and then fell pregnant again, sadly we miscarried again in March.

Since this miscarriage my cycles are now alternating between 29 days one month, then 33-35 days and then 29days etc. I have no idea what’s happening and it’s making ttc again a bit more stressful. I am just so worried that I am broken somehow.

Would love to hear from anyone who has some experience of this or wisdom?

Many thanks,

L

Hey im so sorry about your mc. I was regular with 28day cycle before dc1 then they went to 26-32 days. I only noticed when i was ttc dc2. It took about 5 or 6 months and the month i conceived dc2 i didnt do opksfor a change but i drank loads of raspberry leaf tea! And it worked.

Good luck.

I posted a similar thread about 2 years ago to this. Lol

Sorry for your mc - been there! Ty not to worry about the alternating cycle - if you have lots of sex around the times you might ovulate or are able to use opk’s then you will be fine most probably! I have cycles that alter in length (range 26 - 35) but still tend to ovulate around cd 18. Before children I was regular at 28 days but after children my cycle generally was a bit longer (av. 31 days).

My natural cycle is an alternating one. It tends to go late early on time... late early on time... However my ovulation day always seemed to stay the same.

Thanks so much all, really appreciate your replies.

Trying not to stress about it as that won’t help! Will just keep trying and fingers crossed!

Take care all x
