Got a smiley face this evening but this is so much earlier than previous months. I also have ewcm.
Making sure we bd tonight in case i do ovulate early.
Has anyone else had a positive this early that was right? I'm temping so ultimately should be able to check but for now I'm just surprised.

Thah does seem early, but if you have the EWCM & positive OPK I would trust it. From reading these forums I think in terms of ovulation/periods almost anything is possible! We're all so different... & it's not an exact science. Good luck Grin

That is exactly how I concieved my last baby. I always used to ovulate around cd18 that one month I was still using a tampon and noticed that I was having ewcm then 12 days later I got a bfp so definitely possible. Good luck

Thanks! The deed has been done 😂 so will see what the opk says tomorrow. Due to DH's age every day isn't possible so we need to just work on every second day which I know is sometimes recommended anyway for sperm quality.
I'll report back once my temps are confirmed too as I love googling and reading old posts and hate when there is no update 🤨
Not that I'm obsessed or anything 😂

We never dtd every day. Maybe every other day but only around peak times and still worked even tho dp. had problems with quality of swimmers. Fingers crossed

I got a positive opk cd10 this month. Very unusual for me. My cycles are 31 days on avg (they vary between 28 and 34 days). In previous months I didn't get a +opk until cd19. In tww now so only time will tell. I made a similar post when I got an unexpected early +opk and some people had said that it doesn't necessarily mean you will ovulate, just that you're body's gearing up to do it. I think that's what potentially happened with me because although I'm supposedly 11dpo and AF due in 3 days, I've zero signs that I'm either pregnant or about to come on, which I expected I'd have by now. I stopped testing shortly after +opk on cd10 so there's really know way of knowing when i ovulated until either AF arrives or I get a BFP.

I'd keep testing if I were you. It might be that you get another positive later in your cycle at a time you might expect to get one. In the meantine though, get BD'ing cause you just never know. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! Tested again this morning and another smiley face so think it must be right that I'm gearing up to ovulate a lot earlier than usual. Temp is up this morning but not by enough (0.13 F). Looks more in the graph so did think for a minute I had ovulated already but on checking the numbers it's a very small increase. Can't BD today but will try again tomorrow. Smile

I'm thinking I ovulated on CD9 this month and I was worried it meant my chances were slim. Didn't DTD as much as I would have if I'd been prepared.
Agree on googling old posts with no updates.
Why do I care if Brenda got a BFP in 2006? I don't know, but I do!

babybrainy · 14/08/2018 19:44

MsHopey - glad it's not just me!

Still loads of ewcm today and tested again tonight to another smiley face so hoping I've got a second chance at this tomorrow too.

I'm 42 this year so time is against us. If I ever have a daughter in going to tell her to freeze her eggs in her 20's! Grin
