Ovulation bleed/spotting

Anyone have any experience with ovulation bleed or spotting?

My Af stopped for 3 months as my hormones were all over the place which i now think was down to a gluten sensitivity and my immuniglobulin IGA being high.

After completely cutting gluten my AF returned just 3 weeks later and my hormones seemed to settle down. From cycle day 5 just as my AF ended i was visiting my OH in Sweden so there was lots of dtd.

On cycle day 12 immediately following dtd i noticed when i wiped myself clean in the bathroom (sorry tmi i know) it was pink like i was getting my AF. Next morning nothing in knickers only when i wiped again a little more pink coloured watery mucus. This continued for a total of 3 days but wasnt a constant flow, more occasional spotting when i wiped and mostly pink or brownish.

Was this an ovulation bleed/spotting? Since this happened im experiencing symptoms like occasional nausea which comes with a vile mettalic taste in mouth and very dry mouth, sore tender boobs, but most noticible is the creamy white cf ive been having especially yesterday it has leaked all over my knickers lol i actually felt it trickle out and thought for a minute i was starting af. Could i be pregnant? Im at cycle day 24 now. Im 42 btw and not really ttc but if it happens it happens. Sorry for extremely long post.

Anyone? Correction, light bleed started cd 14 not 12 as previously stated. Im cd 26 today

Doesnt anyone have any experience of ovulation bleed or spotting? Does it sound like thats what ive had?

What im wondering is, was i ovulating at the time of the spotting, had i already ovulated or was i about to. Ive no clue at what causes the spotting and if id actually even ovulated, but ive checked my cervix last night and it doesnt fit with what a premenstrual cervix is said to be like. Its not low and hard like normal its all squishy and hard to make out from the surrounding area.

I'm wondering about ovulation spotting as well. I've never had it before but yesterday on cd15 which is my normal ovulation day I experienced a small amount of watery bleeding accompanied by cramps and one drop of bright red blood. This is completely new for me (cycle 13) but I'm not sure thats its a good sign as my temps have been oddly erratic this month and I didn't have a rise this morning as expected (although opk was +ve cd 14). Hoping its not a sign of anovulation :( and that temps will be up tomorrow. Have you done a pregnancy test incase you ovulated early?

Tested yesterday evening got bfn but im only cycle day 27 today so not sure. Boobs have been sore continously since last wednesday, ive been bloated and today ive got really bad heartburn.

@emmalou512 im now in the same boat as you 5dpo and brown spotting af not due for 10 days so dunno if it's early af, IB or ovulation bleeding

@saze4 yeah im cycle day 28 today but as im not certain what day i ovulated im not sure when my af will be even due. Just gonna wait and see

Well im at cd31 today and still nothing. Bfn this morning. Boobs still sore, having a few niggly cramps but nothing major. Other than that, nothing. Maybe AF is just around the corner. Going to start tracking ovulation from next month see whats really happening. Maybe i didnt ovulate at all? Just weird that i got spotting for 3 days from cd14.

@emmalou512 what do you think about this? Evap line or false positive i've heard sainsburys are bad for false positives both sainsburys test came up positive and fr negative

Oh the line looks blue. Isnt an evap line usually just a clear line?

@emmalou512 thats what i thought defo looks positive but just put me iff cause if what everyones said about sainsburys haha! I'm going to wait to see if af turns up on thursday no signs if it tho usually get sore boobs

Im cd34 still no af. Not tested again since cd31. Have back ache, cervix still not low and i still have creamy cm. Guess it might just be my hormones messing about again.

Well i really have no clue whats going on. Still no AF and today my cm is stretchy but not clear, more an off white colour. I think ttc is going to be difficult when my cycle seems to be all over the place

Due on on 21st had no period and keep getting negative tests results

Yeah its really frustrating. You think you might get a positive, then you get bfn, then think af is around the corner and that fails to show too

Reflecting on this current cycle im wondering if i even ovulated at all. If not then what was the light spotting i had for 3 days from cd14? Ive read that spotting around ovulation time is a good sign that youve actually ovulated. If i ovulated then where is af? Im baffled

If your hormones have been all over the place then its not unlikely that AF may not show for a while still. Could it have been bleeding from when you dtd?

Saying That, I had some strange spotting a few weeks back but I'm breastfeeding and hadn't had unprotected sex so not sure if that was my periods starting up again or not. Female bodies are a complete mystery and I hate it. Theure never straight forward.

Well im now CD39 and still no af and still BFN. Not testing no more its obvious things arent working as they should. Boobs are again really sore. I guess my body is working hard tryjng to ovulate but maybe my age is a big factor and everything is slowly packing up. Not sure theres much of a chance of ttc now at this age.

Got my AF today so i guess i must have ovulated at some point? Lol
