Quick urine ovulation test question

IMe and dh are ttc and I am using the home urine test for the 2nd month. I just wondered why the instructions say to test at the same time each day? I tested this morning - no LH surge, but bodily symptoms are here. So, I have just done another one (and forgot that it was supposed to be a 4 hour gap since last urination) and it is showing a surge. SO am I supposed to go for it tonight, or wait and test tomorrow morning, which should still show a surge, shouldn't it? Or should I wait until tomorrow night to do the deed? (But we are leaving for the airport at 4am Tuesday morning, so really NOT good timing!!)

I think it just says to test at the same time every day to make sure you don't miss it - eg 8am on tues and 8pm on Weds you might not detect the surge.

Sperm can live for days after sex so I would def go for it today and next few days.

Good luck!!

Thanks! I haven't tried the pillow under bum thing. Tonight it is, then!

Pillow under bum is a myth!!. Enough sperm will get to the cervix from where they will not escape.

You can get more than one LH surge every month and not all such surges are followed by ovulation anyway.

Would make love when you both feel like it, such kits can put undue pressure on couples.

The pillow under the bum IS a myth because the sperm are more than capable of reaching the cervix by themselves without this so called "help".

Its just another myth thats been banded about, there are many such myths to do with the whole field of trying to conceive.
