AF due today, line eyes help please!

The only test I could find yesterday was a ClearBlue Rapid Detection and the blurb said it should be used the day after your period was due.

Obvs I couldn’t wait and I saw a shadow of a second line which came up within the time frame but is only really visible once I pulled the test apart.

What do you think? I’d prefer a “yes it is +ve” 😂 but think I’m kidding myself

Just do a FRER today. Those clear blue tests are notorious for false positives.

[Hmmm] that’s what I thought @welshweasel but as it came up in the timeframe I thought I’d get some more opinions! Will wait to see if AF turns up before I get a FRER, my last chance (DH has a Dr appt at the end of the month to request the snip) so no point buying one this morning if AF turns up tonight!

Clearblue almost always have a faint line when you dismantle them. I’ve been caught out with this before. The one in the case is negative.

You should go out and get a frer or early detection test and put your mind at rest.

Clearblue so often have a faint line and there’s lots of threads on here with people seeing them and not being pregnant.

And a big fat not pregnant on a digi this morning, that’ll teach me to not chase shadows! If it isn’t a clear line it isn’t a line! When will I learn?!

AF not rocked up yet mind so one day late now according to some apps and two days according to others so apparently I won’t learn about chasing shadows until she turns up 😂

If you are pregnant you're likely too early to get a positive on a digital test as they require a higher level of hcg.

Try another FRER!

I’ve got a FRER left but I’m going to try and sit on my hands until Thursday (which is when the countdown to pregnancy site says I should test) if AF hasn’t shown up and if that is inconclusive I’ll go to the dr’s and ask for a blood test as I had a similar thing happen in January and it was stressful as fuck so this time I need answers so I can get on with life either way!
