Periods - almost certainly TMI

Always had a regular but slightly short cycle (27 days). Since TTC I have months where it's 25 up to one month at 30. The rest are my usual 27 days.

I have really light flow (mooncup day 1-2, can get away with liners from day 2 and only need 2 a day and then light spotting until day 4 & that's it). Today AF turned up again and I noticed the flow was bright red this morning when I came on, but within 12 hours it's dark red and almost brownish. (Joys of mooncups eh, suddenly have you noticing all sorts - sorry)

Do you think there's a link between really light flow and not having enough lining for implantation? It's a long shot but thought I would ask.

I had twice day periods and got pregnant (albeit through ivf).

DH is finally sorting his testing out and if all comes back normal then Dr said it's going to be more invasive tests etc for me so I'm trying to log everything.

Sounds like you were talking about me. My cycles are very similar. Been ttc for 6 months now and asked the doctor this question and he made out like short periods weren't an issue.... I thought the same as you, surely it makes a difference?

I'm fearful they are an issue but am glad they are at least very regular. Just worry but the stress and worry don't help either! How do people just 'forget' they're trying!!

Mine are regular too and he said that's the most important thing as it indicates ovulation every month. I'm a worrier too! I'm due af tomorrow and just praying it doesn't come! Haha

My periods are really light (pads/ mooncup for 2 days then liner/ lightest pad and nothing at night for 3 days. I got pregnant first time trying twice. So I wouldn't say light periods in and of themselves are cause for concern.

CB OPK have shown I'm ovulating and EWCM also. Still feels disheartening each month

Good to know you're not the only one isn't it. I just feel really low about it currently. Returned from a lovely holiday but again it has finished with AF marking another unsuccessful month.

My sister only needs pantyliners for her periods and got pregnant first month trying

My period got lighter and lighter whilst I was TTC and my last one was literally 1 day but I got pregnant that month. It did take me 12 cycles though
