Faint positives almost 3 weeks after chemical

Is this normal? To still be getting faint positives 2 weeks & 3 days after the bleeding began. I bled heavily for 7 days with bad cramping & rib/back pain. I had never experienced bleeding like it. Up until that point I had been getting faint positives for a week but they weren't getting darker so I knew something not went right. Considering they were so faint to begin with I would expect a complete negative by now? Or can it take longer for the HCG to completely leave your system? Any advice appreciated. I haven't contacted my GP & wondering if I should.

I was still testing positive 4 weeks after a chemical. I would definitely go to see a dr as they would need to make sure it’s not ectopic. Luckily mine was just my body taking ages to get out of my system but the waiting was horrible and confusing. Hope this helps xx

I had similar and it was an ectopic. Speak to the GP, or attend early pregnancy direct if it's walk in near you.

The EPU told me to contact them if I was positive a week after bleeding started for a chemical pregnancy.
