Sorry, another test check

Can people please let me know if I’m seeing something or? I’m one day late (normally very on time) so I took a test to ease my paranoia, and it looks to me like a very faint line.

FYI I’m not trying, I’m don’t want a baby right now so it’s not wishful thinking. I actually miscarried a couple of months ago and I wasn’t sure whether to go ahead with that pregnancy as me and OH didn’t feel ready and there was/is a lot going on in the next year. We’ve been using condoms, and as far as I’m aware, no breaks... I’m not PMSing except for the boobs which isn’t like me, but my symptoms have been off balance since the MC

I see it, but looks grey so possible evap?

BoBo90 · 09/08/2018 19:15

I'd say that's negative. If your
hormones are still adjusting after your miscarriage your period could be late for that reason

Didn’t know Evap lines were a thing, just googled and it’s pretty reassuring, thank you!

I’ve had 2 normalish periods since the MC, I would’ve thought my hormones would be somewhat back to normal by now

I’ll leave it a few more days for Aunt Flo to make an appearance - you’ve saved OH £15 on the way home!

Just read more about evap - the (very faint) line was there as soon as the test was done, just fished it out the bin and it’s still (barely) there

Sorry if I’m being dense, the only other tests I’ve done were blaringly obvious. I’m a bit uneasy after everything

I don’t think the line is in right place, and it lacks colour, I’m thinking it’s an evap too.

Thank you all for the hand hold, rationalised it for me. fingers crossed (and legs for the foreseeable)
