Anyone used this before? ...
I'm thinking about trying it this month...
but I have no idea when to use or what it even does

I ordered some to use when we start TTC next month, so am also interested in hearing about how it works, tips and positive results!

Elderflower78 · 09/08/2018 17:40

Another watching with interest. My cm is fine though but can't hurt to use it.
I was surprised it came with a little syringe Grin think I will just use the lube first x

chelc · 09/08/2018 19:03

I have read up that it doesn't harm anything & that... But then I also wanna know when too use it & what not because I've been trying to fall pregnant a while now. Got recommended it & don't know anything about it xx

Other lubes can slow down or stop the little swimmers getting through, pre seed doesn't. Simple as that as far as I know x

chelc · 09/08/2018 19:28

Ah, would like to know if anyone has fallen pregnant that way. I should ovulate soon and I'm going to be using it this cycle🤞

I used it once (2nd month ttc) and got my bfp. Obviously I can't say this was why I got my bfp but I would certainly use it again if trying x

Yakadee · 09/08/2018 20:21

(When I say once I mean over the ovulating period)

Momma22 · 09/08/2018 20:26

I've been using it for the first time this cycle. This will be my 4th cycle trying. I'm currently 7dpo so we'll just have to wait and see.

I think it's supposed to mimic fertile cm, so if like me you get little to no egg white cm it could help. I think really the main idea of it is that it doesn't hinder the sperms chances of swimming to the egg, whereas other lubes do. If you feel you have sufficient EWCM and sufficient moisture down there without lube i probably wouldn't buy it. Having said that there are so many great reviews for it, and women swear by it for conceiving quickly. So maybe it's worth a shot.

I have no complaints about it, does the job, but be warned, a little really does go a long way! I think if I do get a BFP next week a part of me will think it's because of the preseed, just the waiting game now.

chelc · 09/08/2018 20:34

Ah gosh. I'm going to give it ago and yes I got warned it was very messy or something.. I'm not too sure how much too use or whatever lol. I'll soon find out.. And let me know if you get the positive result!x

I conceived twice using preseed. My first pregnancy sadly ended in MMC (nothing to do with the preseed!). My second pregnancy is now 18 days old Smile.

sagasleathertrousers · 09/08/2018 21:05

Used it four times, pregnant three of those (one miscarriage.) Lots of trying without it and never a snifter of a positive. I think I must have weird mucous or something.

chelc · 09/08/2018 21:07

Well I've been having trouble falling pregnant. Keep having peak ovulation tests but obviously not working out for me. So maybe try again with this x

I was thinking about pre-seed earlier... If general lubrication is the issue, do 'normal' lubes actually damage the sperm (and potentially affect foetal development) or just hinder their journey?

Sorry that it's slightly veered from your topic, OP. Fingers crossed for you!

Winchester89 · 09/08/2018 21:15

We used conceive plus on 4th month trying and it worked 👍🏼
Good luck!

Greekcatslovesouvlaki · 09/08/2018 21:27

I have read really positive things about people trying for a long time with nothing, then getting their bfp after month 1 or 2 of using it.

We tried it for the first time last month, no bfp but my cycle was 5 days longer jam its ever been so I'm wondering if it did something but it didn't quite catch.

Presh12345 · 10/08/2018 02:40

Have been using it for about 6 months and nothing yet. It is very messy but sure willing to give anything a go after MMC.

SoozC · 10/08/2018 14:38

Preseed is great! It's safe to use while ttc, other lubes not designed for ttc can kill off the sperm.

It did take us about a year to conceive using it but we use it all the time because it's such a nice lube!

NaomiJ11 · 10/08/2018 16:57

I used concieve plus and conceived first time after 4 months of nothing. I didn't find it too messy the concieve plus comes in single use tubes so it was ok you just had to lay there for about 10 minutes before you do anything not overly attractive but it worked for me first time so I definately recommend it.

clairehr · 10/08/2018 20:55

Got my BFP first cycle using pre-seed. Can't say that's definitely why, but wouldn't hesitate to use again. Good luck 😊

StylishMummy · 10/08/2018 21:01

We used conceive plus lubricant and got pregnant very quickly

kaytee87 · 10/08/2018 21:07

I used it ttc my now 2yo but we use lubricant anyway as my DH is ahem rather large, I'd read that other lubricants can inhibit conception.

chelc · 11/08/2018 01:29

🤞 fingers are crossed for me this month!!!!

Momma22 · 24/08/2018 19:35

Well don't know if this is down to the preseed or if this was just our month but there it is! Faint, but clearly positive, so happy! Grin

Pre-seed
Yakadee · 24/08/2018 20:29

Congratulations xx

TheLovelyOtherDinosaur · 24/08/2018 20:58

I used it and conceived with my first cycle! My darling boy is now nearly 7 months old. I would highly recommend it. I’d heard so many positive stories that’s why I tried it and was so glad I did!
