Hi. Ive had 2 healthy pregnancies resulting in my 2 girls. One is 5, the other is 1. I stopped breastfeeding around Easter time. My boobs are still very empty, essentially just loose skin- not sure if this is relevent, as first time round they 'plumped back up again'. Anyway, around 4 months ago i thought i was pregnant, got a positive test and then a few days later began bleeding. I wasnt sure if it was a miscarriage but looking it up sounds like it was a chemical. At the end of july, same scenario again. Several positive tests. For the whole of july from the moment my last minute period ended i had a lot of brown and red dicharge which led me to go to the doctors. I had an internal on monday but she said everything looked okay and took swabs. She said it sounded like an early loss. My question is- after having 2 healthy pregnancies, what is stopping me from sustaining this time? Neither was planned but i feel so sad about it and cant help but worry whats wrong. The only thing that has changed is i lost a fair bit of weight and the fact my boobs havent recovered- could it be hormonal or just bad luck?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Probably nothing. I've had two chemicals too and they're shite. Up to 70% of pregnancies are chemical (the stats very as it's difficult to collect these statistics). You were just very very very lucky before...

Be kinder to yourself. It isn't your or your body's fault. All likelihood points to a random chromosomal problem with the blastocysts.
