TTC after the implant

My OH and I have been trying to conceive since I had the implant out in May (not long, I know!). With the implant I had fairly regular periods for the last year, but didn’t track. I’ve been tracking now with the Ovia app and it’s predicted my period like clockwork- 28 day cycle, then a short 2/3 day period. I’ve also had cramps for the first time in years, and generally feel like I feel the effects of my hormones more. So, everything points to my cycle being back to normal but I don’t seem to be ovulating. I’m taking LH tests once or even twice a day throughout my fertile window and usually a few days before and after, and zilch. Anyone else have this? Could I be ovulating and just the tests aren’t picking it up? Should I just stick it out? I know it’s normal to wait for a year, but I’d like to at least know the basics are working!

Yup. Lots of people don't detect the surge and still ovulate. Try tracking your bbt (google it).

Thanks Kate. I recently started tracking that. It’s a little all over the place - I had a drop on the date the app said I was likely to ovulate, but then again 8 days later. It’s early days ... and possibly not the best thermometer - but I’ll keep trying. Would feel so much better if I could just get one positive ovulation test.
