AF or WTF?

Advice/solidarity needed please. In June I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. On 22 June I had surgical management and told to expect AF in 4-6 weeks time. Had some very light bleeding for a few days. GPs tracked by HCG down to 25.

4.5 weeks later I had a very light 3 day bleed which I assumed was AF. Barely enough to need a liner.

9 days into my "new cycle" I start getting flashing smile on clear blue OPKs. We DTD every other day in spite of heatwave! This continues for 9 days without hitting the solid smiley. Then on day 16 "AF"? shows up again. Very light, don't need a liner but there when I wipe for the last two days.

So Is this AF again? Should I count this as a new cycle? The bleeding is so light it doesn't seem right to me. Has anyone else had this post MC?

@wouldthatbeworse I am now on my 4th cycle since my MC and D&C and it is the first cycle that I have used opks and the 2nd cycle of actively TTC since MC. I started testing on cd 9 and then got flashing smiley on cd13 and had it every day including today (cd 17) but yesterday (cd 16) I started spotting - pink then a bit red but v light then brown and then today v light brown but still have flashing smiley. I have no idea what is going on. I'm usually very regular - 27-29 days so if this is AF then it is totally out of whack and so incredibly light. I know cycles can take a while to settle after MC but I thought mine had... maybe it does take a bit longer.

@Newbie21 Thanks for replying. Sorry for your loss and sorry that you're going through this too. It's so frustrating. I really hope things get back to normal for you very soon.

I meant to say... I'm not sure whether you should count it as your new cycle or not. Definitely log it and then see if you have AF at the normal time. If not, and not pregnant then maybe count this as your AF. That is what I plan to do- doesn't feel like AF but who knows?!

So AF showed up in full this morning 10 days early so I am counting this as cd1 of new cycle.

@Newbie21 Me too. Very weird stuff - but I guess it's better to be on day one than not knowing where you are. Hopefully this will be the last AF either of us see for a while. Thanks for messaging and wishing you best of luck
