I read somewhere that you shouldn’t start a new exercise routine while ttc.

Does anyone know much about this?

I’ve been ttc for a really long time and want to start doing some running and exercise classes but obviously won’t if it will hinder my chances of getting pregnant.

FYI, I currently walk 2 miles a day and live a healthy lifestyle in general. I just feel that starting something new would allow me to focus on something else...

I'm by no means an expert, I've only been TTC for 3 months myself but I have heard that sometimes starting a new exercise regime can affect your cycle. It can sometimes cause late periods which I suppose in turn could be due to late ovulation?
I would say if this was to happen, it would be more difficult to pinpoint things like ovulation and when AF is due.
But of course, it is good to exercise in general and stay healthy to conceive which it sounds like you're already doing :)
