Off pill and no period. Feeling frustrated

Hi All

I came off the pill in January with the hopes of conceiving this year. I'm 32 and have been on the pill since I was 18 or so. A long time! Anyway, i finished my last packet in January and had a bleed 6 weeks later and nothing since.

It's funny because i came off the pill with the attitude that we wouldn't actively try to get pregnant but that we wouldn't try to stop it either. But now I am getting more and more frustrated as time goes by.

I keep getting the usual cramps/headache symptoms that i would usually get before a period but nothing is happening! Is anyone else here in a similar boat? I know it's v early to be worried about it.

I recently came off the pill and was advised that it could take up to a year for periods to return. I know it's worrying but it's all completely normal

I have come off Yasmin a couple months ago. I had a period 4 weeks after my last withdrawal bleed dead on. Tomorrow I will know if I am 4 weeks regular. I have taken a few breaks and seem to go back to 27/28 day cycles straight away. I know my consultant said it can take up to a year to get normal. What ever you normal was before which if they were irregular etc will be that. He also mentioned having cycles were you don’t ovulate. If you are concerned you could see your gp or practice Nurse
