Hello friends,

So this is long. However, I've missed a period for 2 months now my last known date was 14th June'18 (and I'm regular). And about 20th June'18, me and my partner done the deed, with protection and it split. I waited until 14th July to start testing, but I have had a few mixed responses in HPT and OPT.

I started feeling symptoms of pregnancy around 1st/2nd July, and as I missed my period I was suspicious and done. HPT and it came back negative, so I've been testing 2 times a week and I have had some very faint positives but only on a few. These positives are 2 Asda tests, which in the leaflet state they pick up as little as 25mlU and one Sainsbury's which picks up 45mlU.

So I'm the mix I have also done OPT and they have ALL came back positive, and I've been doing them 3 weeks now, and I know ovulation does not last that long, so are they picking up HCG as well, as I know they pick up small amounts as well as LH. But as of late (past week nearly 2) I've been feeling bad cramps, sickness (tho not actually vomited), cravings, tiredness and fatigue, mood swings, and I'm coming up to my 2 months missed and very confused as I've still not lost a drop of blood. I've not long had my daughter (she's 7 months) and I know I was at high risk of conceiving again.

I've been to the doctors once and their test was Neg and so was clear blue (but they have to detect levels of 100mlU)

I'm unsure whether I am pregnant and just not producing enough HCG to be picked up, or whether I'm not. But all the symptoms and even a few tests coming back positive it's had to detect something for even a faint line?

When I'm passed the 14th I will be getting another Dr's app and most likely push for a blood test. Advice please.

TIA Smile

I would be inclined to think that your periods are still getting back to normal. Do you breastfeed? Alternatively I would be pushing for further investigation by gp. Blood test at very least. Good luck

I agree with pp it's not unusual for periods to be all over the place in the first year after having a baby and your hormones might be a bit haywire causing the pg symptoms.

If af doesn't turn up soon and you're still getting faint positives visit the gp

If it’s the Asda digital tests, there was an article recently about them giving false positives :(

I agree with PP that it sounds like your hormones are just a bit all over the place x

I didn't have any trouble until last month, so just getting concerned. Dr doesn't think it was anything to do with hormones but think I'm not producing enough hCG or miscarried v early.. which I hope not but we'll see, thanks guys for helping x
