Positive opk after miscarriage

I miscarried one week ago today. My hcg levels should be coming down. I still have some spotting left from the miscarriage. I was 5 weeks.
I ovulate early and according to flo app I'm due to ovulate in the next 2 days.
I obviously don't think I'm ovulating so soon but do you think the positive opk is because I still have hcg? I was really hoping to avoid a d&C BUT now thinking I may need one if my hormones aren't normal yet.
I just want to ovulate and try again.

Your first cycle post mc can be a bit messed up. It can take a while for the hcg to leave your system whether you've had a natural miscarriage or medical help. Take a pg test and if it's negative then you know the opk is a true positive.
