I've been exclusively breastfeeding my ds who was born in May. Despite this my period came back at 6 weeks pp (ugh). About a week and a half after my period, I had the tiniest bit of pink when I wiped (tmi sorry), I freaked out about implantation bleeding but just put it at the back of my mind as we'd used condoms every time we'd had sex. However, my period is now a couple of days late and here I am worrying again.

I'm thinking/hoping that my periods are just going to be irregular because of the breastfeeding, really not ready to have another baby yet. Has anyone had any experience of this?

Yes, it takes a while for periods to get back to normal after pregnancy whether you're feeding or not. That doesn't mean you're not pregnant though- only a test can tell you for sure

I write this so many times- I fell pregnant on the mini pill and beast feeding when ds was a couple of months old. You need to test.
