Bbt in the heatwave

I'm not ttc but I use bbt as part of my contraception (very effectively by the way!).

But this heatwave I'm sure is throwing my bbt out of whack. Today for example my measurement was 36.54 but I got my period (as expected, I'm usually 24-27days). Usually I'll see a much lower drop down to around 36.40 or lower to warn me of my period starting. Likewise my ovulation wasn't so marked because my temps are high anyway.

Anyone else noticed this?

I’ve been wondering this. My graph is usually pretty consistent but this month my BBT has barely dropped beneath my coverline at all. Can’t seem to find anything conclusive and reliable about the effect of weather anomaly...

My post ovulation temps were about 0.2°c higher than normal during the heatwave and since af began a week ago it has taken them longer than normal to drop back down to my normal pre ovulation range. It's still 30°c here yet I'm back down to 36.12°c which if right for me for cd7 so no idea what's going on!
