Hi all..
I got my bfp last week with a frer and clear blue digital but woke up this morning with Brown blood bit of cramping so tested again and line is so faint :( almost certain it's another mc I've had 3 already in the last 11 months and am completely devastated .. before this pregnancy I was referred for some scans/blood tests to try and investigate why this is happening but got pregnant.. I have 3 healthy dc from a previous relationship and my partner also has children so I won't be referred to a specialist it's just so frustrating why it isn't happening for us.. I don't know if I should just give up it isn't getting pregnant that is the problem it's staying pregnant.. anyone have any successful stories?? Or is it just not ment to be x

Hi there I'm similar . Bfp in May , hcg dropped a week or so later and started bleeding at 5.5/6 weeks . Then fell preg again three weeks later exactly same thing happened again. Both me and my partner have children inc one together . I'm 30. Got another bfp on friday terrified of it happening again. Only thing I can do is wait. The doc referred me anyway after the second as the wait is so long and said hopefully by the time I'm due to see consultant I won't need them . I wouldn't push for a referral even lie and say you have been trying longer than u have . For trying that long and that amount of miscarriages is in the NICE guidelines u have to be referred, the number of children u have is irrelevant xoxoxoxo big hugs it sucks hun I know

I WOULD push for referral that's supposed to say do

BerniceA · 06/08/2018 09:11

Really? He said because I have 3 children we wouldn't be able to do a referal all they can do it blood n scan I will definitely be pushing to be referred then .. I was 6/7 weeks with the first around the same with the second but that was a pregnancy of unknown location my progesterone was at 1 but my hcg was still rising until I mc then a chemical in June and now this one .. xx

Yeh I have one and my partner has one then we have our dd together she's six and the doc says she's stuck my name down on the list anyway she says as the wait is so long. Google NICE guidelines for recurrent miscarriage . To my knowledge there is no mention of how many kids u have previously . Xoxox

I had three consecutive miscarriages after a healthy pregnancy.

I was referred and prescribed cyclogest, a progesterone supplement. I had a successful pregnancy almost immediately.

As far as I know just because you have children already doesn't stop you being referred. What if does stop is nhs funding for ivf if you were to need it. I have a child as does my dh and we still got referred for consultation and tests on nhs - not for miscarriage but infertility. I'm nearly sure you are still entitled to a referral - recommend you push for one. Sorry you are going through this x

Yes I was referred for a scan and blood to investigate why it's happening after my 3rd mc but got pregnant with 4th but if they come back as normal I wont be refered to a specialist because of how many children I have and he has that's what my doctor told me anyway xx
