Return of fertility?

Can any breastfeeding mums give me any advice? I'm still breastfeeding my 9 month old only at night so probably 2-3 times a day. The last week I've had a huge increase in discharge enough to cover a whole panty liner. I've had bouts of EWCM and cramps but negative OPK and cervix goes from hard to medium a few times a day. We've been TTC number 3 since DC was 5 months and nothing. Still no PP AF, but this increase in discharge is new. Could my fertility be returning??

I took this OPK just now, I'm assuming it's negative.

Hi OP! That's exciting! Was it a static smiley?? It's so hard to know with BFing. I had cm for about 8 months before I stopped (when he was 19 months) and my ferility returned. Had lots of "almost" positive opks but never positive.

Guess you'll know for sure in a couple of weeks :) fingers crossed it's coming back!

Hi @8DaysAWeek thanks for your reply, yes it was a static smiley Monday morning and afternoon, I took boots ovulation test yesterday am and and pm and it was positive and I had the most awful cramps! I just took another OPK not with FMU and I'm
not sure if it's still positive??
My cervix was definitely SHOW yesterday what do you think.

When my dd was 10 months, i only got highs on cb digital opk. Then last month i went from low, to peak the next day, then peak again. Think my body was trying to ovulate. Then about a week later, i got my first pp period. So hoping my body is ready, that i will have better luck ttc this month 🤞
