Can anyone help?
I think I know the only answer is to step away from the tests for a few days.

Got a fantastic FRER on Friday but seeing that my cheapies weren't progressing any, decided to take the clearblue digital id been saving for Tuesday when Af is due. Not good news :( I took it apart and it's still mocking me!!

Any idea what's going on? frer was Friday (4 days pre Af), CB is today (2
Days pre af)

Have you tried another frer they are more sensitive that the cb?? X

Trinny80 · 05/08/2018 08:52

Digitals aren't really that sensitive. I would wait a few more days let the hcg build up then maybe try a digital again. Good luck xx

I would try another frer. I think that's the only way you'll get a definitive answer.
Like others have said the digis are less sensitive.

Thanks so much ladies. It's so hard. I think I'll wait until Tuesday and see. I've not had any bleeding (a touch of brown, not even a spot, on wiping yesterday morning) so whatever triggered the frer is still there.

I had heard that CB wasn't as sensitive so thanks for confirming. Fingers crossed this isn't failing.

I'm going to try so hard not to test early next time... and I'm never using a CB again!!

My cbd didn't say 1-2weeks until about 4days after positive frer. Wait a couple of days and redo it. Cos that's a mega strong frer. 🤞🏻

userabcname · 05/08/2018 12:02

I waited a week after a positive frer and a day after AF was due. Good luck!

Just be careful with the frers. I had a strong positive on them but a barely positive on other brands. I ended up having a chemical at 5weeks. I had to have a blood test to confirm it as the hospitals tests were negative but my frers at home were positive. I would wait until you miss your period and take a regular brand.

I also second not using the FRERs I had a test line stronger than the control line 5 days after missed period and still had a miscarriage a week later (last week). Also used them a few years ago and had a chemical the next day. Remember using an Asda test after my chemical for my last pregnancy and that was fine and pregnancy resulted in my 15 month DS. They are brilliant for early testing but I think they're too sensitive - for me anyway
