56 day cycle, negative pregnancy tests

Hi everyone,
So I have been using ovulation tests and ovulated on 29th June. I'm now on cycle day, 56 and have about 50 negative pregnancy tests. It's very frustrating! I have a doctor appointment booked but it's not for another week. I wondered if anyone else had had similar experiences?

I'm on day 39 which is late for me with negative tests. I keep getting later by a couple of days each cycle which is incredibly frustrating. It's nothing like your 50 days but I can empathize. When were you due on?

@skidd24 that sounds frustrating for you!
it may be you didn't actually ovulate on 29th June. Sometimes your body will gear up to ovulate (positive opk) but doesn't actually go through with it, I used to have long cycles and this happened to me a few times. I would see the doctor if I were you and double check you're def not pregnant but next cycle I would recommend continuing with the opks even if you get a positive and you can use bbt charting to confirm you have ovulated with a sustained higher temperature.

FlapJackered I think that's exactly what happened.

Kr250710 typically my period arrived the day of my appointment. But I spoke to the Dr anyway and he did a blood test to check hormone levels, no results yet though

So after coming off the pill having a withdrawal bleed I had to wait a cracking 75 days till I started bleeding it was pretty light and lasted 6 days (does this now count as my official natural period) by the way I started bleeding the day before my wedding nice gift to my self. I'm now on cycle 2 and on cd11 I'm on honey moon so no idea when I'm ovulating all I no I have been baby dancing for the last 7 days straight so here is hoping. Fingers crossed if I don't fall this month it isn't another massive cycle
