What happens if ovulation not confirmed?

Hey girls,

I'm just waiting about at the moment it seems. I have PCOS but still awaiting my second blood test to check ovulation. I'm pretty sure it's not happening and I'm only on cycle 4 this year. Trying SMEP etc this cycle and just feel it's pointless at the moment .

What happens next if I'm not ovulating? Will I get help or will they make me wait?
I asked the nurse at the doctors when I had my bloods done and she was a little short with me and said I'll be able to get help if I wait 18 months of no joy? Only 10 to go lol!

18 months is wrong I'm sure. It may be age dependent but I went to see the doctor at 11 months of trying and they were happy to start tests. I fell pregnant before they were done tho.

Are you temping? I'd recommend temping first as it's the best way to confirm
