9 days late but negative test

Hi all, I've been TTC for about 10 months now and these last few weeks I really thought we might have finally done it.
I'm 9 days late (was due on last monday 23rd)
I did a clearblue digital test this morning and it was negative. I was disappointed. My periods are regular and i'm never usually late.
Any advice? Could I still be pregnant but it's just not showing in a test yet?

There is at least one thread a week re a late period and negative tests; it's extremely common. Occasionally, it's due to pregnancy but usually it's a blip, most likely late or absent ovulation but most people never know. It's normal for this to happen occasionally. Frustratingly, all you can do is wait and test again.

Good luck. I know how difficult it seems right now and how galling it is for your body to suddenly behave oddly.

Hiya ! I would personally use a different test , with my last pregnancy I got a bfp with a cheap supermarket test, so took a clear blue digital and it was negative ! I was so confused. Apparently they aren't as sensitive , so I'd get a first response test !

Good luck ! X

Thanks both
I hope it isn't a blip but i'll wait a couple more days and if still no period i'll do a first response one!

A first response should pick it up now, they're designed to pick it up on the day you miss your period . I got my bfp 10dpo! But if you've got the will power to hold out great lol. It's so hard to resist peeing on them all

I think the digitalis require a higher level of hcg. You may have ovulated a lot later than usual so could be not as far along as u think.

Try a first response early test with pink dye which are the most sensitive. Good luck xx
