Dark'ish ovulation strip. Only cycle day 9?

So I know this isn't quite a positive ovulation test cause the test line is still lighter than the control line. But I think this looks fairly dark for only cycle day 9. My clue app says my avg cycle length is 31.5 days and my predicted ovulation day is cycle day 19 based on my previous cycle lengths and when I got my smiley face previous months using CB opks. I'm only cycle day 9 now and it looks to me like i may get a positive opk in 2 or 3 days. But then again I could be completely wrong. This is my first time using amazon cheapies, what do you think ladies?

I think all you can do is carry on testing and see how many days it takes to reach a positive. It seems that ICs do pick up hormones quite early and then a positive is slow in appearing.

Thanks @HelloBrass might start testing twice a day so I don't miss my surge, because I reckon I'm getting close now, hopefully I am anyway :)

Right so now I'm really confused? Is this positive or close to positive? Done at 8am with FMU gonna test again in an hour or two. These IC's are a tad confusing, gonna stick with CB in future lol

I used these from amazon. It told me when I was ovulating and I got pregnant quickly afterwards. They are great indicators. From your pictures it looks to me like you are ovulating.

Should say I used them twice and got pregnant twice.

Also they only work with FMU after that the hormone is too watered down.

I always wondered whether they work better with FMU for me. I took the CB ovulation tests a couple of months back, tested for days mid afternoon as recommended in the instructions, got nothing, then one morning just for the hell of it thought I'd try it with FMU and boom! Smiley face! I think the hormone concentration is it at it's highest at different times of day for different women personally. I'm gonna DTD tonight just incase and keep testing ...

Well I found a feature on my 'Glow' app that scans OPK pics and tells you whether they're positive or not. According to mine this is a negative, but it also shows you where on the scale it is and although this is still a negative it's getting close to a positive
