Not sure if I’m more annoyed at Drs, my cycle or useless pee sticks

In May my period was very late. Testing negative but felt pregnant (distinct symptoms) Went to Drs and they said sorry we don’t really do anything until you’ve not had a period for 6 months. Try testing again in a week.

Waited then tested again still negative. Got fed up with the whole saga and booked an ultrasound (well woman check). That showed I was indeed pregnant.

Unfortunately I miscarried about 7 weeks ago. The week after pregnancy was confirmed.

Waited patiently for a new cycle to start but now again 3 weeks late and testing negative. Went back to Drs and got exactly the same response.

I would have thought what with the last time and a miscarriage they may have been willing to actually do a scan this time! If nothing else then to check the miscarriage was complete. But they won’t so instead again in limbo wondering wtf is going on. Miscarriage was an early one at 7 weeks.

Little fuzzy on exact dates so been as close as I can. I deleted the app in a fit of pique and annoyance!

Sorry what you've been through, but I honestly think part of it is the stretched nhs.

The miscarriage is highly likely complete unless you are still experiencing pain and symptoms of infection.

I get that it's crap, but they won't just offer ultrasounds if you want them... there are protocols and guidelines they need to follow.

It's also very common for cycles to go a bit wonky after mc...

It's crap, but that's the way it is...
