Anyone else fed up with TTC?

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone is feeling the same way as me... I’m on cycle 6 and still not even a glimmer of a BFP, managed the last few months to give up on OPKs and temping and anything regimented but still no joy! All
My friends conceived within two months of trying and starting to think it will never happen... just wondering if anyone wants to keep each other company who has been ttc 6 months plus maybe (because I don’t think I can take comparing myself to any of you lucky ones who get preggo in 1-2 months!) ? Any advice or reassurance also welcome!

Hey hun, not that far in but I've just got my 4th AF after starting TTC I know how you feel every time you get another period it's like another month of waiting starting all over again 😓 I'm almost 33 so maybe age plays a part but my younger sister took 9 months to conceive and she was 25 at the time so I know it's not just us. I think because everyone hammers into you that once you have unprotected sex you get pregnant so you think it's that easy when in fact it can take a while! Frustrating isn't it! Xx

Yes, incredibly so. It depends when you count ttc for me as I’ve had a miscarriage and baby who died soon after a premature birth since trying end of 2016/early 2017. I really really hope I get a BFP with a healthy baby at the end of it soon.

Ttc is such a horribly emotional time. I wish we could all had far great control of our bodies over this aspect.

Yes!! But my problem doesn't seem to be getting pregnant it's keeping the baby safe my body can't do :( trying since December 2017, natural mc at 6/7 weeks in January. Had one period then was pregnant again went for my 12 week scan at over 13 weeks and baby had died at 9. Currently on my period now 6 weeks after loss. Petrified of a bfp but cannot wait to see one again!!! No matter what situation you're in it's so frustrating and you feel your body is failing you with BFN or miscarriges it's heart breaking xx

And it's even more frustrating when your cycles are 45 days long!!! Grrr x

3 years here with a ectopic in between. I’m sick to death of it all 😔

@xJune88 same here!! 45 days, 52 days and so on and so on.... so frustrating and disheartening to have such long cycles and fewer chances...

@Wifelife you sound just like me haha 🙈 after mc I had a 55 this time was a 42 which I was impressed by. My shortest has been a 38. It's weird ovulating on day 31 when some women have 28 day cycles. So frustrating xx

@xJune88 it really is, and for no rhyme or reason either, I’m just told its stress and hormones and it will all be fine ... DH doesn’t seem to get it, he said yesterday oh I’m sure it will happen by the end of the year there’s 5 months to go, I said well yes but we won’t have 5 attempts we might have 3 at a push! Being so irregular means tracking any changes is so tricky too! Fingers crossed for everyone but nice to have a bit of a moan xx

Me too. Cycle 9 and one MC in there. Think the MC or the surgical treatment of it messed my body up, everything just feels different since then. Fed up is not the word, just done with AF so here we go again!

Can I join too? Feel so guilty saying that TTC is really frustrating/upsetting/hard work(!) as I'd love nothing more than to be a mum. Came off the contraceptive pill just after our wedding last July and thought we'd "see what happens". We then starting actively TTC (with opks and tracking etc) around Christmas time - and still nothing so guess this technically cycle 8 ish or maybe 9 (but more like 12 or 13).

We've been trying SMEP this month and got a solid smiley on my clear blue digital this morning - but got to say both hubby and I are finding all the sex exhausting! 😂 (especially in this heat!). Praying that this is our month 🤞🏻

In a 2ww atm. Been trying for around 5 months. Took us 5 months with dd1 but we weren't really trying. This time round we've tried hard (scuse the pun! ) But nothing yet.. even bought ovulation tests this time round so we'll see if that works but yes sick of it. Want to go back to enjoying rumpy pumpy not forcing myself to.

Me too, I'm definitely getting fed up, I do have other dc but it took years for dh to want to ttc again, and im wondering if we just left it too late.

We've been trying since July 17, had a loss at 4+3 in April and no luck since.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the responses, I hadn’t seen these yet and it’s a nice feeling to know I wasn’t alone in feeling that way....thank you to those sharing difficult stories and I am really sorry to hear you’ve had to go through that.

Little did I know that as I wrote this I was already pregnant... just hoping that this actually goes to show when you really feel like it’s not happening you never know what’s around the corner. I had severe endometriosis and really just never thought t would happen.

Am petrified now but have to just think it’s outside my control!

Really hoping this becomes a lucky thread for all of you. 🍀

Yep! On cycle 13 but until recently have had long cycles so it's been 15 months.

We're on cycle 8. I didn't realise how disappointed I'd be each month. Definitely frustrating!
