Anyone ttc at 37?

Anyone on here ttc for the first time in their late 30s? Or has anyone reading this conceived at 37? How long did it take you?
Cycle #1 just finished with an early AF and I'm more disappointed than I thought I would be (Googling statistics about declining egg quality has me panicking). DH is 32... I'm starting to wish we had started trying before we got married! Any advice welcome so I don't lose my mind! Confused

Thank you. Was sorry to hear your story as well. My friend said to me that as soon as you get pregnant you become a parent and so the loss is very hard no matter the time at which it happened. Loads of people said but at least you know you can get pregnant but the reality is you wanted to the baby you lost. If you gives you some hope it took me another four months to conceive again. Still early days so not getting my hopes up! Happy to share thoughts on the process!x

Hello everyone who helped me on this thread. I just thought I'd update... I have a 7 week baby girl snoozing on my chest right now and am so happy.
I wanted to send an update in case anyone else is worrying about ttc later in to their 30s and sometimes it's nice to see a happy conclusion to these threads. Smile

Hello all!
I'm 38 and TTC for my first baby! I'm on cycle #4 of trying.
I've never been pregnant!
It's wonderful to read good stories about this! Keeping my hopes up!
@Pickingflowers how long did it take to get pregnant? Smile
I thank you @Pickingflowers for coming back to the thread with a conclusion... most of the time I read the whole story and never know what happened next! Confused

Good luck @universal83 I was so obsessed with the statistics of being over 35 but I shouldn't have been. The one thing the doctors tell you to do is not wait too long and get started ttc and you're already doing that.

@Morgane777
I got pregnant cycle 2 but sadly lost that pregnancy early at 5 weeks 2 days. It then took us 6 more cycles to get a second positive and that pregnancy worked out and I have my little girl. We really tried though each month, opks and dtd at least every three days the whole cycle. I found the waiting each month so hard, especially after the mc and got really stressed. But tried to keep positive and eat healthily etc.
We found conceive plus lube a really nice one and felt like it was working with us, if that makes sense? I really hope you get your bfp soon. Smile

@Pickingflowers sorry to read about your first pregnancy lost! And now, congratulations for the little one! Halo
The waiting is indeed difficult... I'm trying to be more relaxed about it, but can't help to think about it constantly.
Thanks for the advice! I hope I'll have my BFP soon! Smile
