TTC after chemical pregnancy

Hello!
I had a chemical pregnancy earlier this month - I started bleeding about 3 weeks after conception. Unfortunately, 1 day after we had decided to tell our families!
Since it was such an early loss, we aren't taking a break and TTC again immediately. Is anyone else going through this?
I am using OPKs this month which I didn't last month - so far they have come back negative. My fitbit app tells me that I should have ovulated today (CD15)- however I'm wondering if it will be later because of the chemical, or if it could have even been and gone? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago- positive test (actually multiple tests!) 10 dpo and then they got gradually paler over next few days, and my period started a day later than it should have. I was doing OPKs and temp charting before and after- and my ovulation the following month was completely normal for me ( I read it could be early or late after a chemical but it didn’t happen that way for me.) Really sorry that happened to you xx

Are you temping at all by the way? I know it doesn’t help with timing, but does usually let you know after ovulation has happened

@RoseGoldEagle I haven’t been temp charting - I should start - I wish I knew more about my cycle then I do. I don’t currently know the length of my average cycle or when I normally ovulate 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi @LucyC10 I ha a CP last month, a week of cramps and 4 days of faint positives then it was gone and just had a heavy period and more cramps.

In a way I am very positive that it's possible, and it was only cycle 3 so also positive that it was early in TTC.

This month my chart is looking very healthy so I've got my fingers crossed. I hear you're more fertile after a CP so I'm hoping this helps. I thoroughly recommend charting though if you want to know more about what your body is doing. It's very enlightening.

I was about 2 days late last month but I ovulated on CD14 as usual from the start of my last AF. Doesn't seem to have affected it, however I don't usually get positive OPKs but I did this month for some reason!

@CookieWaffle - I agree about feeling good that you know it is possible for your body to get pregnant. That’s interesting that you don’t normally get positive OPKs but did this month - perhaps that does mean you’re more fertile! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻I will keep doing mine and hope I get a positive one soon! X

I had a smiley face on my OPK!

I got pregnant immediately after a chemical pregnancy so I obviously ovulated at the usual time but I was only just 4+1 so not far off my usual cycle.

Thanks @Foggymist - it seems quite common that people conceive straight after a chemical - but I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up!
