Hi all, I actually think I'm going mad.

I have the Mirena coil insitu, had my previous coil for four years and was replaced early as it wasn't working effectively. New coil in November, have had a small bleed around the 23rd or 24th of the month ever since. This month, I had a minuscule amount of spotting on 22nd and 24th and nothing since. I have all the signs of being pregnant, I'm nauseous and dizzy, I have lower back ache and I'm exhausted. I feel pregnant (have two DC aged 15 and 7 so know the signs). I did a Tesco pregnancy test this morning which had a thin blue line in the first 30 seconds which has now faded. I'm just so confused. I will retest tomorrow/Monday but may go buy a pink dye test somewhere (since when are Tesco blue dye?!)

Any thoughts on the pic, I hear the Tesco ones are now known for Evaps HmmConfused

I see a line.

Check with a FRER tomorrow and if it is positive get yourself an early scan.

Thank you Polly, I'm totally torn as I know if I am there is a risk of miscarriage due to the coil but I also experienced secondary infertility in conceiving my daughter so this would be a miracle 😐😯

The Tesco tests always come up with a line like that. I had 3 like that over a month and I'm not pregnant. I got my husband to wee on the last one and it also had the same line!
They are really bad tests. Best double check with a frer.

That's what I suspected BoBo Confused I will retest in a couple of days with a pink dye test

I felt pregnant so many times with my mirena coil! Sometimes I could actually feel a "kicking" sensation Confused so strange! Maybe do another test but if it's negative look up pregnancy symptoms with mirena as there was loads of similar stories!

Thank you Lavender, I will do 😧 this is the first time I've felt this way to be honest though and I'm hoping it's not all in my head. I have a telephone appointment with my GP tomorrow morning so I will mention it to her. Thank you 😊

There's definitely a line there but I agree about the Tesco tests. I honestly wonder how they're allowed to still make them. I once tested and got a line (without knowing they were crap tests) and just thought I was pregnant. I wasn't. Definitely get another test.

I hope you get the outcome that you want Thanks

Thank you Maverick and Rainbow. I tested again with my last Tesco HPT and it was a clear negative. Still have signs of pregnancy but nausea is wearing off. Waiting for my GP to phone but she hasn't yet so will discuss it with her and perhaps go in and check the placement of the coil. The test from yesterday has a very clear thin blue line, today nada. I used to rate Tesco tests and they were fantastic when I was expecting my daughter in 2011 🙁

Thanks for all the replies, hopefully will get some clear answers soon 🤗
