Painful periods after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage in Feb which ended up being dealt with surgery after it didn't pass naturally (even with medication).

I had my first proper period in April, and ever since then, my periods have been really painful - cramps and bloating for the week beforehand and most of the week I have AF. It's also lasting longer than it did before.

I don't know if this is normal after a miscarriage...I am really worried that the surgical management has damaged something...!

Has anyone got any experience of this?

I just had my first period after mine. I didn't have to go through what you did though! Hope you are ok and taking care of yourself. My first period was very painful and different to the usual. Cramps with no bleeding started a week before and when it came, omg. Check with your doctor x x x
