hello, not sure what to do but thought i would ask to see if anyone has been though similar and could give me some advise.
i was late, so was hoping i was pregnant. i wanted to wait until i was 2 weeks late to take a test then on the day i was going to take it, i started bleeding. well it was brown and thick and not really a lot of it enough to put a few spots on a pad but thats through the whole day and night.
i have been bleeding like this for over 2 weeks now. i took a test anyway after bleeding like this for 2 weeks and the first test i took (mid-day) was very faint didn't even realize there was a line until i went to the bathroom later that day and looked at it again. i took another 2 days later and there was a faint line again but slightly darker. not sure if that means anything?!? i have been ttc for 4 years now the first pregnancy i had in 2014 unfortunately it was a molar pregnancy then the 2nd was last year and i had a missed miscarriage. so i am now really worried as i have this thick brown discharge. even though its not a lot it been going on for for 2 weeks and 4 days. not sure if the positive lines mean anything because they are so faint.
please can anyone help
thanks

I had something sort of similar - nearly 2 weeks of brown discharge (quite heavy) but mine was when my period was due. I just assumed it was a weird period and carried on. However 2 weeks later I started to feel nauseous so took a test and it was a very strong positive! So my only advice is to wait a bit and do another test - in a weeks time it should be much stronger if you are pregnant.

Keeping everything crossed for you!

Ring your GP and ask for an EPU referral, this could be an ectopic pregnancy.

I had the same, brown discharge started when period was due continued for a week or so.

I was referred to epau but they wouldn’t scan me till I was six weeks so I had to wait a week and go back.

Are you having cramps or anything?

I would definitely call me local EPAU and take their advice.

thanks for getting back to me
i had cramps quite a bit the first week ive been bleeding like this but seems to have tapered off now. and the dark brown thick discharge is now lighter in color and amount (tmi)
i did think it could be an ectopic pregnancy due to the cramps and discharge but surely the pain and bleeding would be getting worse.
will take another test monday and make an appointment with my gp
