Poor @CookieWaffle. Sending you a hug and some ☕️ or 🍷

purplestar9 · 18/08/2018 17:29

@BambiOnIce80 sorry been having a break from my phone for a bit, so I'll be a bit slower at replying :)
I'm currently 4DPO I believe, all good, nothing to report. Had my sister in law staying with us last night so we had a day with her today too which was nice and distracting! I really want to wait and see if AF is late before testing this cycle. But I really want this to be our month, it's our 1st wedding anniversary in 2 weeks :) 😀

@CrystalBlaze congrats!! 😃 so happy!

@CookieWaffle I'm so sorry, hope you're doing okay. Sending you my love. X

ChaosMoon · 18/08/2018 20:08

@CrystalBlaze that is brilliant news, congratulations! 🌹🎉 It's funny but I get such a thrill seeing a positive pregnancy test, whoever's it is. 😊 How did your OH react when you told him?

@BambiOnIce80 I'm ok. Went the better part of a week without cramping or spotting but I've had a bit this weekend. It's a challenge not to worry, but I'm keeping myself busy and it passes so I'm sure it's ok. How are you doing?

@RanchoRelaxo, its as good a reason as any. May baby here you come!

@CookieWaffle I'm glad you're being spoilt and everyone is rallying round. You deserve it.

I hope you're feeling a bit better now @Delilah7. Did you call Tommy's again?

Delilah7 · 18/08/2018 20:52

@ChaosMoon hi darling. Yeah I did. They were amazing support. Thanks for suggesting.

I had a massive amount of CM in my knickers today it was so weird. Was thin and milk like, how it was before... so frustrating 😂 as I know I'm overthinking everything

ChaosMoon · 18/08/2018 21:22

I am starting to realise that from the day you begin ttc, you'll overthink everything. Not just about ttc, but about everything, right through until you're grandkids move out...

CookieWaffle · 18/08/2018 21:52

Thanks ladies and you're very probably right @ChaosMoon Grin

Ah still very happy for @CrystalBlaze, so exciting! xx

Delilah7 · 18/08/2018 22:02

@ChaosMoon majorly true! X

OP posts:
CrystalBlaze · 19/08/2018 10:35

Aww thanks so much @Chaos and @Cookie and everyone else!

Starting to sink in a bit more now and I am excited!

@Chaos, I thought OH was going to have a panic attack when I told him. He was so shocked bless him. But he got over it very quickly and is now very chilled and happy

BambiOnIce80 · 19/08/2018 11:02

@Delilah7, I hope you had a good day at the zoo? We visited a zoo a couple of weeks ago and there were eleventy billion screaming kids there (unsurprisingly) and DP said "why do we want one of these again?!". Had me thinking the same thing, I must admit 😂

@ChaosMoon I'm glad everything is progressing nicely for you and you're keeping busy 🙂 I'm only 7dpo today and doing a similar thing/following @CookieWaffle 's advice to try and keep SSP at bay 😏 Currently reviewing my many, many cook books and working out which ones to chuck at the charity shop (Netflix wasn't quite distracting enough!).

Feeling a bit melancholy the last few days, I must admit. I know we've done everything we can this cycle (I've even cut right back on my beloved gin 🍸😭), but can't help but feel it's going to make no difference 😔 I'm hoping it's just my luteal phase hormones wrecking my head and normal service will be resumed soon 👍

CrystalBlaze · 19/08/2018 12:51

So sorry you're feeling low @Bambi. But there's no reason why it can't be your month. I went from being convinced I was pg to sure I wasnt. All positive vibes lovely x

BambiOnIce80 · 19/08/2018 13:09

Thanks @CrystalBlaze 💖 Think the luteal phase hormones are definitely to blame - just watched the Great British Menu cooking show and even that had me balling my eyes out! DP has backed away slowly to clean the kitchen (he knows how to please a girl Grin).

How're you doing today? Are symptoms kicking in yet or do you still feel pretty normal?

CrystalBlaze · 19/08/2018 13:34

Excellent news on the kitchen cleaning @Bambi Grin

I feel largely normal. Sore boobs and quite tired but that's all. I'm getting a bit stressed about sickness even though I don't feel sick. Idiot.

BambiOnIce80 · 19/08/2018 14:11

@CrystalBlaze there's nothing idiotic in worrying about something you're dreading! Just go with the positive thinking approach of you're going to have a lovely, easy pregnancy which avoids even a whisp of nausea - hopefully that's exactly what'll happen 😉

Delilah7 · 19/08/2018 14:19

@BambiOnIce80 I'm the same as you Hun, feeling like I won't be in with a chance at all this cycle. Hope you're doing ok.

How's everyone else feeling? X

Oh dear god ladies 😣 SSP couldn't find any symptoms today, which meant she got creative and found this website instead:

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/implantation_calculator.php

Only 7dpo today, so I apologise in advance that I'm probably going to be unbearable from Tuesday onwards! 🤪 On the brightside, this information will hopefully give me a break from SSP until then 😬

Delilah7 · 19/08/2018 19:59

@BambiOnIce80 well that's helpful 😍

OP posts:
RanchoRelaxo · 19/08/2018 21:31

Bambi I have been on that website before, there's a section where you can see symptoms of each dpo that make pregnancy more or less likely, it's so dangerous 😂 am sure it says something like on 2dpo if you have a headache you are less likely to be pregnant.. as if your body even knows at that point haha

RanchoRelaxo · 19/08/2018 21:37

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/early-pregnancy-symptoms/symptoms-by-day-past-ovulation.php

Here is the link if anyone is feeling brave.. warning, this will probs bring out the worst of your inner SSP 😂
(Just to add, I don't really think there can be much truth in it can there? Can your body even know what's happening at 1dpo?)

BambiOnIce80 · 19/08/2018 21:54

Totally agree with you @RanchoRelaxo that there can't possibly signs that early! From what I was reading today the symptoms of high progesterone levels in your luteal phase and early pregnancy are sodding identical, so symptom spotting is entirely pointless... And yet I can't help myself!! 😖

That's what drove me to at least try and figure out when implantation was likely to happen, if it's going to happen 🙄 Any time between today and Thursday, so far from an exact science! Role on this time next week when AF is due and I'll be put out of my misery, one way or another 😏

CookieWaffle · 19/08/2018 23:10

Oh I had that website bookmarked. Its quite addictive. Just careful reading the comments at the bottom, I'm amazed at the amount of detail some women have gone into to describe what their body is doing, when it probably was just a bit of wind.

I found this response to someone on Reddit which I thought sums it all up:

"Being a living human with a torso is the leading cause of abdominal pain. If you had the ability to look into some strange past weird sensations crystal ball, you would see that twinges and jabs and pains happen to you all the time. Gas, poo, hormonal cramps etc."

I've had a sore throat for a few weeks which I magically forgot about last week then it magically came back. It was probably there all along but my mind was preoccupied for a few days! So much of this is all in our minds :)

BambiOnIce80 · 20/08/2018 07:42

It absolutely is @CookieWaffle! Just need to get that into my thick head and stop torturing myself with the symptom spotting 🙄 The only one that I wonder may be an honest indicator is if the sore boobs which we normally get in the luteal phase stick around right up to when AF is due 🤔 Mine stop being tender about 2 days before AF shows up, which I'm guessing is because my progesterone levels crash because I'm not pregnant... Which means I'll be copping crafty feels all Friday to see if they're still tender or not before AF is due on Sunday! I'm absolutely going to have someone walk in on me doing that at work one day 😄 I really should get some excuses lined up that don't make me sound like I'm mentally ill 🤔

How's everyone else on this fine Monday morning? 🙂

RanchoRelaxo · 20/08/2018 08:06

I'm okay, approx 2/3dpo today, need to keep repeating 'i will not test early' this week, I have got a load of ics and normally can't help but test from like 7dpo, but I really don't want to this month! Will be a brilliant sign if my period holds off untill after 8/9dpo, will see if the vit c tablets have done anything 😊

ValidUser · 20/08/2018 08:33

Testing negative. AF due tomorrow and 10 dpo.

Looking forward to gin when AF shows up!

BambiOnIce80 · 20/08/2018 10:16

I get it @RanchoRelaxo - I like the IC's for if I'm just before AF and I need to know if I'm needlessly missing out on alcohol or not, but then getting the BFN and having to wait for AF to show up really depresses me 😔

@ValidUser, I am also looking forward to having a couple of drinks if/when AF turns up on Sunday 🍸🙂 DP says we should nip to a nice whisky bar we've been wanting to try Sunday afternoon and have a wee dram or two for our 'disappointment plan' treat 😉

Delilah7 · 20/08/2018 10:19

You ladies are in such high spirits. Love it x
