In the 2ww again , 3rd IUI... anyone want to join me?

I had my 3rd round of IUI with donor sperm yesterday. I'm CD15 today. My story so far...

Same sex relationship, my wife conceived our first born, DS is now 5. We bought more sperm than we needed to first time round with a view to having a 2nd child in the future...

So it's my turn to hopefully conceive this time.
1st IUI - monitored natural cycle ..BFN

2nd IUI natural cycle BFN

This time round we have had a monitored cycle with an HCG trigger.

Trigger shot on Sunday night with a single 18mm folicle and had the IUI Tuesday afternoon.

This is our last try at IUI before moving onto IVF.

Trying to stay calm and relaxed but the 2ww is always a struggle isn't it!

Ah good luck! Hope that it works this time and you miss the IVF route
I am 4/5 dpo, am not feeling super hopeful this month but still can't help obsessing over every little twinge haha
After each month I always say I'm gonna be more chilled out about TTC and I normally manage it until ovulation when I turn into some crazy woman 😂

How are you getting on? I'm 9dpo now and due to test on Tuesday. Driving myself a little crazy waiting tbh! Xx

Unfortunately it wasn't my month after started a few days ago, but I am still feeling hopeful for next month ah Tuesday, that seems so far away haha, don't know about you but I've never wanted the weekend to go so quick as I do when I'm in the tww 😂 wishing you the best of luck!

I know what you mean about weekends... I will for every day to go fast during the 2ww!

I try to put it out of my mind but it's too hard.

Told my self i wouldn't symptom spot but yet I find myself doing it anyway! Crazy!

Hi @RanchoRelaxo unfortunately I got a BFN yesterday and ironically AF started literally 30mins after I tested just to rub a bit of salt in the wound!

So it's onto IVF for us now but we are out of savings so we will have to wait. Going back to see our consultant early September to put together a plan etc but realistically it will be 6-8months before we have the money for it.

We are both disappointed but we have to accept it.

We have go on holiday next weekend so that will be a good bit of down time for us to reflect and recharge our batteries.

I've taken a few days off work to spend extra time with our son, its easy to get caught up in ttc and forget how lucky we already are to have a child already.

I hope you get your BFP soon. I'll cross fingers for you for next month xxx
