Too soon to be sick?

Just wanted some opinions and experiences really.

TTC our second baby and my last period started 7th July. I was sick this morning while eating breakfast just like how I used to be when pregnant last time. Seems too soon though surely?

My cycles are usually 34 days long but last one was over 40 days. My baby is 9 months old and I've only had a couple of periods as we've reduced breastfeeding and now I just BF once per day.

My ovulation app has now changed my cycle length to 36 days because my my last cycle being so long and so it's saying I will ovulate in 3 days time.

Could BF be making things a bit all over the place though, and maybe I ovulated really early this cycle?

Confused!

Wel I've done a test and it's not showing positive... Feeling a bit sick this afternoon. Did some googling and apparently some people feel sick when they ovulate, so maybe it's that.

You're cd18? When did you ovulate? You're not being sick because you're pregnant. It's far too soon.

@ChikiTIKI - pretty much. Sorry.

Are you sure it’s not a bug (there are some going round at the moment) or the heat? With DC2, I started being sick at 5 weeks.

Ifeelshit · 26/07/2018 09:17

There's a bug going around. It feels very like morning sickness. I only realised it wasn't (I am pregnant) when DH got it the following day.

I don't know when I ovulated or if I have but there were signs of ovulation around 20th July. I don't feel unwell at all apart from this being sick and some nausea on and off. Both mornings I've started eating, been sick straight away and then been able to carry on and eat the rest of my cereal. Last time I was pregnant I had this too. I am not usually sick so two days in a row has got me suspicious. Got cramping feelings again today...

It’s possible for sickness to start pretty early - I’ve had it begin at 8dpo before. (I had HG all through pregnancy and it was miserable.) But if you usually have long cycles it’s unlikely you’d be that far on at CD18. Possibly is nausea related to ovulation in that case?

With my HG babies I had been sick before my period was due. With the ones where I had regular morning sickness that generally started the day after my period was due. For me sickness was a very accurate pregnancy test.

Thanks for your replies. My symptoms have gradually reduced to only feeling slightly sick first thing in the morning, only a bit of cramping and weeing a lot. Thinking I am probably not pregnant now.

I will report back though. This Saturday is 4 weeks from when my cycle started but period not due until the end of the following week. I won't test again unless my period never shows up I don't think.
