Hi everyone! im trying to conceive for my first however I am having problems after coming off the depo shot after being on it for just under 4 years. I was due to renew my shot in September 2017 however decided that I wanted to come off contraception. After allowing the three months worth of contraceptive to come out of my system I started counting the months from December, Bringing me now to 8 months of being un protected. I got my periods back properly Mid April to May and have had them monthly since for 5 Days at a time. Ive started taking Pregnacare conception at the start of this month in hopes this will help. I just wanted to hear other peoples experiences trying to conceive after the shot and any ways I can help the process of falling pregnant along? Just really disheartened at the moment! Sad Thanks!

Depo can have an impact for up to a year, especially as you didn't get your period back until a couple months ago.

Patience. Low expectations.

Pregnacare won't make you get pregnant but would provide loads of nutrients a growing blastocyst needs.
