Different brand OPKs are telling me different things? Line eyes needed!

Hi everyone. I’ve gone 4 OPKs today (I know )

The first two taken at 11am and 1pm look positive to me, they’ve faded a bit in this photo. They were darker earlier.

The second two were taken at 3pm and 5pm and are negative. But they are a different brand. Has anyone else had experience of this?

Based on the picture, would you say I’m due to ovulate soon or not?

I thought the test line had to the same colour as the control line. I don’t think they are the same in the bottom two tests.

They all look positive. I don’t think the lines have to be the same shade?

Top two are positive, bottom two aren’t. OP is right test line has to be as dark or darker than control line to be positive. Doesn’t work that way with pregnancy tests though which is wonderfully confusing!

Perhaps you have a short surge and you caught it with your first two but by the time you took the rest your surge already declined? Either way looks like it’s time you got busy...GL! xx

The top two look positive, agree the bottom two aren’t. OPKs are only positive if second line is as dark as control. It could be you caught the surge in the morning and it dies down by the evening, or different sensitivities between the two brands. I’d recheck tomorrow.

Top two look positive, especially if you said they were darker before. Bottom two are negative. Could be your surge started last night and got the tail end of it today? Either way start making the most of those positives....
