Test again?

Just after some advice please, currently 7 days late, took a clear blue test on Sat am which was negative. My cycles can be irregular, shortest 23 days, longest 42 days. Not ttc but may have got a bit carried away around ovulation day had i had my average 28/29 day cycle. Should I test again using a different brand? Probably am just over thinking things but have read mixed reviews re clear blue. TIA

I think it’s unlikely that you have very irregular cycles and you only got carried away in one small window.

Negative tests are not always accurate, but unless I had a spare test kicking about, I would just wait until you were post-your longest cycle timings.

If you’re not TTC, and don’t want to be pregnant, the ‘management’ options don’t change dramatically at this stage

*unlikely, given that

Thank you @sessy19. Probably am worrying about nothing. It's been a stressful few weeks so guessing it's probably just delayed
