Referral declined

My GP referred me to the recurrent miscarriage unit at the hospital. The appointment came through and I was assigned a consultant. The consultant has now reviewed my medical history and rejected me. Said I don't meet the criteria. I'm so confused and upset by this. Has anyone had this?

Can you phone the consultants secretary and ask what the criteria are? (Afaik it’s 3 miscarriages, but does this consultant have different criteria?)
