My period starts have been really affected by a stressful few months and have been all over the place so I’ve no idea when my period is due, but I felt so tired yesterday that I’ve tested first thing and I think I can see two lines? Am I seeing what I want to see? Forgive the appalling paintwork on the windowsill Grin

Are these positive??

I think in need to sit on my hands as the temptation to do another is so strong. I’ll wait til tomorrow morning though. I’ll admit it’s hard to get excited as we’ve only recently started trying again after three awful losses two years ago and I’m still not entirely sure I’ll be able to carry to term Sad

I can see lines. Those types of tests don't have much dye in them I believe so you'll probably find you'll get a much clearer positive with a clear blue or something similar... congrats Smile

Thanks I’ll try and run out later and grab a proper test. No idea when I’m meant to get a period, I’ve had huge gynae issues since an emergency d & c 2 years ago when I nearly bled to death and my periods have been awful since, and only recently settled back down to 28ish days but I was a week early last month so going on that, I should be due on Saturday? In which case I’m doubting that those tests are positive at all as surely it’s too soon for a positive?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience @AwkwardAsAllGetout Flowers I don't think it's necessarily too early to be positive, I've seen on here people getting positive tests a few days before their period. Have you managed to get a test today?

Hi OP. I've had three days of tests that look like that (same brand) and today had BFP on a First Response - no squinting required! So could be an early positive, especially as you don't really know when you're due. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that all goes well x

Another squinter this morning, I didn’t manage to get a proper test yesterday and tbh I don’t feel any excitement at seeing these tests as they’re so unclear! I think I’m going to try and exercise some self restraint and it test til the weekend and see if my period arrives.

Apparently I have no willpower Blush I found a fresh batch of tests when I was hunting around for some shower gel and this one seems much clearer?? Which is the best brand for me to actually go and buy today?

I can see lines on all of them. Get a first response - don't get a blue dye you'll end up with more questions than answers.

Bottom one was exactly how my first BFP was for me Hun. I tested with Poundland tests and Clear Blue early detection and those lines were much stronger! Fx x

Well now I’m crying! I only just managed to go and get a test as the first response I’d ordered hadn’t arrived. Came home and typically, it was there on the mat. I did the first response first and the line was immediate. But the Clearblue is freaking me out. We haven’t even had sex two weeks ago as dh was working away, how can it already be showing 2-3 weeks? I’m guessing that’s good, a nice strong reading, but both our dads are twins and it’s meant to skip a generation...Shock

Non-identical twins are genetic only on the maternal line- your dads being twins won’t influnce how many babies you’re carrying.

The CB test showing 2-3 weeks means you are 4-5 weeks pregnant I believe Smile

I’m so confused as my last period was July 1st. I’m now also starting to panic about losing this pregnancy too Sad we never got to see our last losses, would we be able to request an early scan? I wish I didn’t know all that could go wrong and just enjoy it.
