Smiley face ovulation

Hey everyone, I've been TTC for 7 months now and had no luck (not even any could be lines). Hadn't had any positive OPKS either.

Went to see GP who diagnosed with PCOS and told me my FSH levels were high but that I should keep trying. Naturally, I've felt super down.

Today I've had my first smiley face on a clear blue ovulation test and I cried happy tears! I know not to get my hopes up but I am just so pleased there's finally signs of a chance this could happen.

I guess I am wondering if anyone's been in the same boat and got any wisdom for me really?

Hi I have pcos and never used opks as I was always told they wouldn't work!! Been ttc#2 since DS who is 5!! However started using cheap opks I'm May and got a positive! Then started cb opks for my June and July cycle. Also followed SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) for 1st time this month and got my BFP this week!! Good luck make sure dtd quite regularly!

My 2 dc are OPK babies. Both from the final day of the smiley face! I have PCOS, had already lost one ovary and one tube and ttc for a long time. I love OPKs! They give you such confidence. You can use them as pregnancy tests too if you buy a huge job lot from eBay! Best advice I was ever given by my consultant was to use them and not to swim or take baths once you saw the smiley face! He said you need to keep your body in a natural balanced state (ph wise I suppose), oh and drink lots of decaff green tea again good for PCOS and the right CM for conception. I know there are a million tips out there but these were mine and they worked. Good luck OP. I will think of you in a couple of weeks.

Pcos can cause a lot of ladies to have naturally high LH levels meaning there's a risk if getting all positive opks! Glad I finally tried them! And thank you 😊
