Faint line on a 10 iu/l test...

Thoughts ladies? I'm 13dpo and this is what I got this afternoon on a cheap 10 IU/L test (the most sensitive one available I guess).

I would've thought that at only a day before my missed AF I would have got a slightly stronger line on such a sensitive test... anyone else had a similar experience? I'm paranoid after two chemicals. Thanks! x

I would test again tomorrow with fmu and a frer. Unfortunately a lot of those ICs have been found to not be as sensitive as they claim (look at recent amazon reviews).

Could be a bfp but could be a evap line. I’ve attached a pic of a test I took last cycle which turned out to be an evap. These ic are shit

Blimey... tilly this may be a dumb question but how do you know it was an evap line and not a chemical pregnancy? Did you did do other tests of the same brand which showed no line?

@chestnut9 I'm 11dpo today and these are my IC and frer...I can only see the vaguest shadow of a line on IC but no doubt frer!

So I did a CB digital this morning and it was BFN... so pretty sure I'm out this month. I did definitely get a faint positive on a three different ICs yesterday but nothing this morning. AF is due today but annoyingly spotting and cramps have subsided so it may be a few more days. It's frustrating as I'd rather have the new cycle just begin now. Anyway thanks for the support yesterday! x

Digitals aren't as sensitive though. I would just buy a standard CB or FRER for a more reliable answer.

Don't give up op! I think your pic looks positive. If you bought a 2 pack then try another digital in a few days as they really aren't as sensitive. Good luck!

Hey new to this, just wondering if anyone else has my advice- I’m 21 dpo, AF is 11 days late, had a very very very faint positive on a clear blue early responsive test but had some spotting and very slight light bleeding but not a period.. anyone know what’s going on? I’m so impatient to know 😭

Hey jazzybean yeah I've had that exact same thing happen to me before twice now. In my case AF turned up in the end both times, I'm pretty sure they were chemical pregnancies. So in my opinion you almost certainly are pregnant but maybe it's not very well established. So it may continue or it may not. Annoyingly theres's no way to tell - just have to wait it out. Obviously all this is just my opinion. I feel your pain - it's so frustrating! You get the worst of both worlds - can't celebrate but also can't really have a big glass of wine/coffee/gin to cheer yourself up Sad

It’s so frustrating isn’t it! I’m anxious to take another test but I don’t want to just incase I get disappointed, been trying for ages now and it seems this is the furthest it’s gotten and I can’t help but be excited

I know right?! And the tests are so unreliable. I got an almost complete negative this morning on an IC (10 iu/l) and then did a supposedly less sensitive test just now (20 iu/l) and got a stronger line. So who knows.

I'm kind of hopeful though. I think I'd rather be excited during this wait and then have one big moment of disappointment when AF comes, than just be depressed during the whole wait Confused

Yeah I definitely see more of a line in the top than in the bottom. Eek this waiting game is tough! I'm going to try and stop myself testing again til Sunday. Good luck - fingers crossed for you! x

Ok.. so I'm 6 days late, having lots of symptoms, tiredness, lower back ache, headache, slight cramping, spots, mood swings, sooo hungry! (Put on weight) I've tested with CB and Cheapie ones but all BFN, my cervix feels like I could be pregnant too and I have bloating which really isn't like me, could I still get a BFP soon?! I'm never normally late! Really want to know 😭
