Had a miscarriage in May and was convinced I would get pregnant next cycle but AF showed up. So I want your tips - how do I track ovulation? Do I try every day or every other? Any other special tips?

Hi @Storminamug I just got a bfp after doing smep this month (google it - basically every other day from cd8 until you get a positive OPK then 3 days in a row, miss a day, and one more day). I also used some conceive plus fertility lube so not sure which helped?! Early days still but I didn't get a bfp last month doing it more often!

Ps sorry for your loss Thanks

Ok - I am doing that! Do you recommend any particular ovulation strips?

@Storminamug I used the one step v cheap ones off amazon but as I got close to fertile week I did also use the clear blue digital (just the circle or static smiley which is the slightly cheaper but still v expensive one!)
Also I tracked lots of things in the Glow and Flo ap just as over the course of a few months you can see more of a pattern. Good luck!!!

Sorry for your loss Flowers

I never liked the idea of opks and I wee constantly so don’t know if they’d work for me but I love temping to death and find it really easy and it’s free once you’ve bought a thermometer. I got the book Taking charge of your fertility which explains is simply and well. Got it for a couple of quid second hand off amazon and read it in an evening.

If you have a regular cycle, think you ovulate around the same time and can and want to dtd often then just do that every other day from a week after your period for 7-10 days and you should be covered.

When I started temping I found out that I ovulate a few days later than I thought so kept dtd after my ewcm.

A lot of people will day dtd regularly, relax and it’ll happen blah blah but I’ve never found temping remotely stressful, it just gives me a small insight into my cycle and meant if I knew I’d ovulated later than usual I didn’t get my hopes up about being “late” and waste a fortune on tests.

I used the fertility friend app to chart temps and cm. It’s great Smile

I used fertility lube off and on and sometimes I’ve conceived and sometimes I haven’t. Loads of people swear by it.

What did it for me was ovulation sticks and not getting out of bed straight after dtd (don't fight gravity!)

Agree with PP I got my BFP on the first month of trying (not boasting I realise how incredibly lucky we were) and I always say legs in the air to people! Straight after dtd I'd put a pillow under my hips and put but legs on the headboard, not very romantic but it might have helped! Good luck op!
