2x Sainsbury's cheapies - look positive
1x clear blue - faint positive?
1x FRER - looks like a BFN!
I thought FRER were most sensitive so I'm really confused. Anyone have any similar experiences? Be interested to see how it turned out.

There's something faint on the middle one in the group shot but I can't see anything on the others.

I agree, 1 line in all apart from a very faint line on the middle picture. Wait another week and try again

There is a line on all 3 blue dyes (maybe not obvious in the photo they are faint) but the FRER is a BFN

I’d really stay away from blue dye tests, especially the Sainsbury’s ones. I’ve had so, so many evap lives that look like positives on them. Was the FRER done with FMU? How many DPO are you?

beautifulblue · 18/07/2018 17:56

No it was afternoon urine @justwaiting & I think I'm 9-10dpo. I've seen reviews on those Sainsbury's tests just now... how shit! They shouldn't be allowed to keep selling them with that reputation..

Try again with fmu in a couple of days. With frer. You can ignore those blue ones.

beautifulblue · 18/07/2018 19:56

Do you think 3 false positive on 2 different brands is really that likely though? Even blue dye... I've never had a line before on blue dye except when I was pregnant with DD! Will test again in a few days anyway.. thanks.

On Sainsburys and clear blue, yes I'd say it's likely. I'm not saying you aren't pregnant. Just that you can't tell either way from those tests.

Redrosebelle · 18/07/2018 20:33

My bfp looked exactly as yours did on a Sainsbury’s test.
But, when I did a Frer immediately after I got a strong clear bfp. So I’d trust the frer more than any others. Good luck though! Did you take them different times?

@redrose yeah I'm thinking the FRER has put me out the game tbh! I took the Sainsbury's yesterday afternoon & the FRER this afternoon... so if anything you'd expect it to be stronger. I just can't get my head around the Sainsbury's AND the clear blue AND a few very light amazon cheapies all being wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe a chemical...

Ive stopped buying the Sainsbury's home brand ones as several times they've got my hopes up with the faint lines when I've not been pregnant. I've been TTC 8 years and pregnant 6 times. My tip is don't even bother buying blue dye tests, just get pink dye ones . Good luck x
