To DTD or not to DTD

That is the question for you today!

I'm on CD15 and according to the calender due to ovulate today. All the guidance I have read says to DTD every other day to ensure high enough sperm concentration to conceive, but also to do it on the day of ovulation.

We DTD on Sunday and Tuesday which on one hand suggests we should skip today (Wednesday and O day) and wait until Thursday, but on the other we'd be missing the key day...

#confused! What would you do?

Are you doing opks or charting your temp so you can confirm if your chart is right and today is the day? Any ewcm?

No I'm not doing any of that yet as it's my first cycle (which is why I'm new to this and asking possibly a stupid question!).

Not stupid at all! I'm using 3 apps and all give different ovulation dates so I wouldn't trust them too much.

The egg only survives for 12 hours so I'd probably dtd again today on the off chance your ov date is right. They say the day before and day of ov are when you'll have your best chance.

Good luck! 😬

If in doubt, dtd. Smile

Do it.

Every other day except the day before, of and after ov. When you do it every day.
