So after testing with fmu since cycle day 8 I started having a “high” from day 10 to this day. I usually get a “peak” reading around cycle day 12 so continue testing until I peak from what clearblue helpline told me.

I decided that since I ran out of testers I buy new cb digital opks and this afternoon using same urine tested with existing last tester and reader and with new reader and tester.

RESULT: Old tester-HIGH & New tester LOW! I’m now gobsmacked and frustrated as wondering if my old opk may not have been working.

We’ve been following smep plan since cd8 and just been dtd every other day since plan says if no PEAK reading. I’m just concerned now whether I even ovulated as this was going to be our last natural cycle before potential going ivf route!

I don’t chart and have seen dribs and drabs of cm but it’s not usually that much.

I guess I’ll just bding and test. 😪

I think these work on detecting a change in the hormones. You are supposed to start them on a specific day of your cycle, aren't you? It detects ovulation based on changes, the initial readings are sort of like your 'control'

I definitely recommend charting. It's easy and helps confirm other signs and symptoms.

Im pretty sure that the CB digital OPK once they detect high with automatically read high until it picks up peak.

So the old one is an auto reading and the new one is a true ‘low’.

Which cycle day are you? You can go high back to low before going high again then peak, or even straight to peak...

Tempnamechange77 · 17/07/2018 16:08

*Will automatically read high not with

Im starting to think low is true reading too. I’m on cycle day 17 now. I’m going to get blood test done for cd21to see whether I’ve ovulated.
